Every couple weeks, I get to completely renew my pen carry. The main reason for this is that I simply write sooooooooo much. I go through ink and notebooks like nobody's business (which is a good thing because, as my next post will tell you when I finish it, I've got too many notebooks and a new addiction!).
Anyways, I thought I'd share my current carry.
I'm loving my vintage snorkel (which was fixed by Danny Fudge from the Dallas Pen Show) and the two new pens from the pen show, my Pelikan M200 Cafe Creme and my TWSBI Mini Stub.
A new friend and an old friend together.

In case anyone is wondering, that Waterman Inspired Blue is my all time favorite ink. It's the only ink I use in my Vanishing Point. My favorite pen and favorite ink, together always. I've used half of the bottle and am thinking about getting another just in case.

This is probably the third or fouth time I've filled the TWSBI Mini Stub with J. Herbin's Emerald of Chivor. The two were practically made for each other. Although, next time, I think I'm going to use one of the new Diamine Shimmering inks.
I'm not as big a fan of the De Atramentis Cherry as I thought I'd be, but I love the Platinum Pigmented Rose Red. I only used it because I have a ton of grading to do and know I'll go through it in the next couple days. Otherwise, I wouldn't put a permanent ink in one of my good pens.
That Super 5 Dublin is pretty light still. I'm wondering if there was a little bit of water in the cartridge when I filled it. If it doesn't darken up, I'll probably dump it. That was a sample ink from Goulet when I ordered a mystery sample.
Also, after a month of using my Retro 51 Juliet, I'm back with my Classic Brown Lacquer. Isn't it beautiful?
